Do Indian Students Take BS Courses in Philippines Require Qualified NEET (UG)?

This is the question asked by a parent/relative, who seeks to know what will be the fate of the students who joined the Philippine medical schools in the years 2016 and 2017. We provide information but we feel that many students and their parents must be in a quandary once the news about the mandatory NEET score has spread. We are interested in sharing the appropriate information that we know in the hope that it may benefit such students or their parents.

1) According to the Public Notice dated 22.02.2017 issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, the NEET qualification is essential for any foreign admission taken since May 2018.

Why Consider MBBS in Philippines for Indian Students

On the contrary, going to SRM University will cost you 24 lakhs of rupees, while Sri Ramachandra charges 20 lakhs of rupees, before the cost of living. Also, keep in mind that my cost-of-living estimates in China are only 70% of my estimate for the Philippines. If you tweak a bit, you can reduce the cost of your medical education to around PHP 2.26 million (Rs 32.51 lakhs).
