Cagayan State University Syllabus follows similar pattern of Medical education followed in other Philippines Medical Colleges. International students study the basic syllabus in their Pre medicine program. All basics of Biology, Anatomy, Physiology etc.
The MD1 of their education covers Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology, Neuroanatomy where basics of these subjects lay foundation for every students. In MD2 students learn pathology, microbiology, pharmacology, parasitology, obstetrics, preventive medicine and community health, clinical pathology. MD3 covers pediatrics, radiology, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, legal medicine / medical jurisprudence, gynecology, clinicopathologic conference/special topics in pathology which is most essential for their medical career. Final year students go for clinical practice in Hospitals.
